I locked my hair because it was easier to deal with. Back in the eighties and 90's folks were talking about spirituality and such, and how you had to be for your hair to loc. These folks have obviously never seen homeless folks of all persuasions walking around. If you don't comb it, it will lock. Period.<BR/> I lock it and i like it. I have my hair locked and everyone thinks it is a political statement. For me I just like the style.
